what did 2010 meant to me?
a lot. this year was one of . it was good, it was bad, it was downright shitty.

but 2011, you've got to kick butt.
because in 2011, i'll go mad studying. 11th end. SATs. 12th. it's a scary thought. but i've never believed in looking too far out, cuz thinking about the icy cold water just makes it tougher to jump in.
i've got weird metaphors.

so coming back to the original question. yes, i'm sad that 2010 is ending. but i'm happy too.

yes, it has finally hit me. we're now living in a world full of.. hoes.

ANYWAAAYY. my week so far:

monday

sucked! i was so stressed because i had to prepare for a bst test that is a MONDAY test but they rescheduled it to tuesday. so i procrastinated over the weekend AND THEN I DIED ON MONDAY.

i also had my head girl interview with the princi on monday. WHY SO SOON?

ionno. it went okay-ish. they kept asking about the conti. i didn't go, but it still caught me a bit off guard. needless to say, i was unnerved by the entire thing and subsequently went on a mad spree announcing to everyone that i cannot become the headgirl ever.

sigh.

tuesday

MONDAY test day lol. went pretty decent, as far as i can remember. more interviews, more people unnerved. i have this creepy intuition in my mind about who's gonna get the positions next year (and more importantly, who's not.) also, i had perhaps a million teachers, teachers, come up to me and tell me i looked very nice on the day of the carnival (i have to blog about that too. damn! later)

weird. very weird. they suddenly popped out of nowhere like those toys we used to get (you know? open lid, pops out the joker) and went like, 'oooh beta, you looked very pretty/nice/blah todayy!

very flattering, but again, very creepy.

wednesday

i tried to steal the appointtee interview list with khyati today, lol. why? because they've grouped people of similar posts together. she didn't find it. i found it later on in the day. 

my intuition was correct. but this one only had the boys' names on it. so yeah.

thursday

panic day. nobody seems to realize that we just have SEVENTEEN working days left, and a lot of farewell work is still left. decide to have council meeting on monday.

friday

day starts off well. enter school, realize that there's a house assembly later on in the day. so i proceed to help with that and subsequently miss my first two classes.

turns out, in the time i was gone, a meeting had been called for the entire council, addressed by dipinder mam and anamica mam. their words? "a lot of changes have been made. lots of reshuffling. if you feel you might have a problem with getting a lower post or a different post than what you wanted, please step to the side. we don't want any hue and cry" :|

turns out, posts are being announced. today.

cue lots of nervousness and nail biting. thinking about it makes it nervous so i'll just spit it out.

i got head girl.

yesterday, ze famille decided to go to select citywalk. 

THAT PLACE WAS DISGUSTINGLY CROWDED.

i mean, there was no space to walk. I KID YOU NOT.

but it was fun! we hogged at everything from cinnabon (love x infinity), went to crosswords

adi bought toy story 1,2 & 3 -.-, i bought inception, finally, and superfreaknomics, mum and dad got a nameplate for the home. then later on a i ended up buying a new screen guard and removed the old one (THE SCREEN WAS SO SHINY UNDERNEATH!) and now my phone looks new again! :D YAY.

whatta douche :P we had a crazy photo clicking spree! MY BROTHER IS A CAMERA HOGGER! I AM SO PROUD!

2010

this year's been eventful. and amazing. this is my early 2010 end post, haha.

10th grade. phone. boards. first drunk experience. shreya moving away. german exchange (which in itself is so huge, i can't even BEGIN to describe it). 11th grade. board results. a no-homework summer break. love. incessant rains. vice head girl. umun. a kickass birthday. wordz mun. commerce, lol. inmun. shreya's visit. camping trip. no love. new friends. old friends. new phone. learning. unlearning. forgetting. remembering. realizing.

it feels like so long ago when this year had actually begun.
on 31st Dec 2009, i was a slightly crazy 10th grader who was finding herself, excited, yet nervous about the future.
i'm different but i'm still the same. a little sane, a little insane. still excited, but more nervous. my entire perspective towards life changed this year. this year, i learnt how to love, be selfish, not judge people.
this year, i grew up just a little.

this year. love. hate. love.
but it was all worth it :)



(BTW! i just realized, exactly a year ago today, i got my phone. hahahaha. it kept vibrating while i was in concepts and i didn't realize it was mine cuz i still wasn't used to having a phone :P good days.)
