for being the most understanding people ever. i say it all the time, but i mean it when i say i'm so glad to have these two in my life.

CWG HAS KICKED OFF WITHOUT ANY CEILINGS FALLING DOWN! :D

the opening ceremony was so amazing, i was on a high! i was clapping after EVERYTHING, it was all brilliant!
even the crazy bits, like when the prez kept saying 'lad-iez' and the entire audience laughing when mike fennell thanked suresh kalmadi and then you could see him slinking down his seat :P
the DUDE who handed over the queen's baton to prince charles.. while chewing gum and running SO SLOW!
and prince charles looked so.. awed and struck by the indian audience. it was pretty awesome.

i felt so, SO proud to be an indian yesterday.
admitted, the days before the games were like a media tornado of criticism and bad press.
but. we freaking pulled it off.

i was relieved, seriously. i never thought we guys could do it.
we could've avoided all the negative publicity in these past months.
but let bygones be bygones.
bravo, india.

and beijing, move aside ;)


in other news,
i started accounts tuition. and my teacher says i need not, becuase a 77.5 on 100 is awesome.
wth?

i leave for shimla on wednesday. don't know what to expect.
want to click lots of pics.
won't put them up on fb.
