Sooo I've been watching a LOT of movies. Including:
Watch it for the incredibly gorgeous Yami Goutam, if nothing else. I went 2 days ago with my family, and my mom was slightly appalled by the jokes, but hey! That's always a good sign for the depraved. :P
+1 for the soundtrack. I love approaching random people and going all, "RumRumRumRumRum, HO WHISKEY!", heh. Ayushmann Khurrana has acted really well too. I'm not really sure about the Bengalis, but I can tell you that Punjabis were depicted spot on :D
(Secretly loved Vicky's grandma. "Dilli vich do cheezan hi modern hegi, ik Metro, te dooji dadi.")
Don't be a confused sperm. Watch it atleast once.
+1 for the very special guest appearance near the end of the movie.
(ProTip: Guys? You might not be so eager for food after the movie ends)
I particularly liked how they covered the way high school stereotypes have changed now. Cliques still exist, but there's definitely new factors affecting them now.
Ridiculously fun.
And lastly!
*drumroll*
I CANNOT BELIEVE I SPENT 17+ YEARS OF MY LIFE WITHOUT WATCHING THIS MOVIE. Thank you God, for blessing me with friends who quite literally bullied me into watching this when it aired on WB last week, instead of watching Supernatural at 9.
Listen, just shut up and watch this one.
(And download the soundtrack while you're at it. With the bonus tracks. Gotta love 'em classics.)
Psst. Speaking of Supernatural. Love-hate relationship, yes? Meh. Have been checking out Unforgettable these days, pretty okay. Californication is love. LOVE. Stupid bandwidth exceeds each month and doesn't let me watch the show more often! Sigh.
