I'm baaacckkk! I liked the trip, it was weird in the beginning but it was a lot of fun! No tigers though :( But it's okay, I'd gone to Corbett wayyy back in 3rd grade and I'd seen one then from far far faaaaaaaarrrrr away so it's cool :D
Some of the kids had INSANE drunk moments, it was hilarious! And the moment we started enjoying the trip, it got over :/ and someone ruined the end of it for me by blabbing to the reps and giving them a nice relationship status update, so blah. But blah. you know. Blah :P

Alsoooo. Results came out yesterday.
From what was expected, I was going to fail.
But I passed.
With semi-flying colours.
And the gold medal's still onnnn! :D


Okay I should stop acting like such a freaking nerd already.
But duuuuuude! Win.

So 12th grade has begun. I've got nice teachers. Monika ma'am is still our class teacher and teaching us Business(yay?) Neeru ma'am's for Math (I don't know what to think about that), Jaya ma'am's taking Accounts (?), Dipinder ma'am's taking English (facepalm), Harpreet ma'am's taking Eco (Hehehehehehe).

I really thought that I'd nerd up and stay in class throughout the year and study like this good kid. One minute later, I was called out of class, and had to stay out for two hours -.-

Investiture's on 28th. HEAD GIRL MEANS SHINY NEW BADGE THAT SAYS HEAD GIRL! HELL YEAHH! But something really uncool happened. Everybody who failed in some subject doesn't get a post.
That sucks, okay? My friends lost their posts because of this, and they really did deserve them. But, I don't know. it's not like the school could do much about that. Still, it feels like blah.
And also, now we don't have people to give those posts to! We don't have ANYBODY who can be the girl counterpart of the MUN sec-gen! Same goes for a lot of house posts and CEEC presidents and Sports captains and Cultural Presidents.

I finally bought a new waaatttccchhhhh! And then I kept telling everybody the time after every few minutes and pissed everyone off in school :D Finally, Khyati decided to ask me the time all the time herself and Tanay tried to eat my hand off -.-
But it's so beautiful! It's black and shiny and sexy and has these long straps. Hehehehehehe.
I also made mom buy me some other stuff, and a new wallet! IT IS SO COOL. BAS.

I like how this is going.

The Bryan Adams concert got postponed from 15th and was tentatively supposed to be on the 20th. But now it's cancelled.
I wanted to go for it so bad :( All (one :P) my favourite people were going. It felt worse than heartbreak when I realized this would happen.
For the first time in my life, I've realized how much the actions of other people (or in this case, the lack of) affect all of us. For no fault of mine or my friends or the thousands of other people who bought those tickets, we suffered. Simply because the organizers couldn't do a thing as simple as get a fire clearance certificate. And that too because they oversold the tickets. This is wrong on so many levels, it's insane! How the hell could someone be so disorganized when 10 thousand people and a world renowned celebrity were involved? And why just Delhi? Bangalore hosts such events regularly, so does Mumbai. Hyderabad had Bryan Adams too. And so did Dhaka and Kathmandu, places which, I'm guessing, don't hold such events very often.
So dear Delhi, what the hell went wrong? Delhi regularly has high profile visits from all over the world, it's the freaking capital of an entire bloody nation for Christ's sake! Why can't we handle a simple concert?! You know, it happens over and over and over again. First CWG was such a big mess, now this. You only realize the magnitude of what goes on in the bigger picture once you get directly affected by it. It makes you angry. It's not your fault, you've held your end of the deal. But they fuck it all up. You hope that they'd learn and finally, one day, they would get their acts together and leave no room for mistake. But they do it anyway. And the worst bit?
You can't do a damn thing about it.

Anyway, hi. It's been a while since I blogged about things in general, life's been moving so fast these days!
But I like life, it's been good to me so far.
(Ironically, there was this huge upheaval at my place an hour back, mum dad me. Boo)

But I like where this is going. I feel so.. calm. I really can't figure out why. Maybe it's because I have one exam left, maybe it's because I'm surrounded by all these great people, maybe it's because I've stopped caring about what other people think. (credits to kushmansiiiingh :D)

BUT. What I don't understand is, WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH THE WEATHER?
Seriously! I know talking about the weather is kind of lame, but hello?! It was perfectly nice and sunny until day before and now it's cold and wet and I've resorted to wearing sweatshirts again!
(Lol talk about being calm)

Grammy's yesterday were (almost) so good! Mick Jagger's performance owned! So did Bruno Mars', I loved the entire block and white thing they did, it looked so classy! And Lady Antebellem turned out to be the big winners, which was slightly.. odd, because the rest were equally good!



Lady Gaga's outfit creeped me out. Arcade Fire won best album wtf?
