"She wants to know if I love her, that's all anyone wants from anyone else, not love itself but the knowledge that love is there, like new batteries in the flashlight in the emergency kit in the hall closet."

Have you ever felt like this.
Like there's a storm raging within you,
but you're too exhausted to deal with it.
& there's nothing you can do about it.
You believe in destiny,
but you're too afraid to leave everything in her hands.
You push against a wall
It pushes back at you.
You push,
until one day it collapses on you.
It's frustrating.
Frustration,
stress. fear. anger. desperation. helplessness.
Nothing is worse than helplessness;
to not have control over something you so desperately want to fix,
to take over,
to mend.
Just take it all in.
Spit it out.
Make it whole again.
Something.

Nothing.

Apparently, Twilight is so popular cuz teenagers can relate to it.

Oh yeah, i remember that time when i was a vampire.
image

By the way, did anyone watch MTV Movie Awards? Twilight won best movie, wtf! It was in competition with Inception, Social Network, Black Swan and Harry Potter!
HARRY POTTER DUDE.

World's gone mad.
When your parents ask you to act normal and you're like..

'

Can you relate? you sit in your towel after a shower because you’re too lazy to get dressed. you and your best friend can say one word, and crack up. you hate when one string of you’re hoodie is longer than the other. you hate it when people think you like someone when you clearly don’t. you hate it when your favorite song comes on, as you pull into the driveway. you feel like if you turn on the lights, you will be safe from anything. you push those little buttons on the lids of fast-food drinks. you laugh until people get hurt, then stop when you realize it’s serious. you hate it when parents get serious about something funny you tell them. you hate when you tell a guy to shut up and they copy you in a higher voice. you pretend to sleep when your parents come in. you text the person next to you things that you can’t say out loud. you hate when people in front of you walk really slow and you can’t get past them. you’re always tired no matter how much sleep you get. you stop the microwave before it hits 00:00 to avoid hearing the beeps. you use the “sup” head nod. you hate when you are mad at someone and they make you laugh. you check the fridge every ten seconds to see if food magically appeared.

I call it.. Potection

I call it.. protection.

I'm going to get to the point.

I finally saw Inception.,
(Yes, finally -.-)

Mind. Blown.

And I have a love-hate relationship with cliffhangers, but I'm going to be a total believer and say that the top was about to topple.
And also, I think I'll have to watch the movie again to understand some bits of it :P

But. Wow. Hats off to Christopher Nolan. And the visual effects producer. Is it Matt Plummer?

I can't believe I didn't see Inception till now.
I think I'm going to be quiet for a while and absorb what just.. happened.

Last Couple of Days

So sleepy. Did I forget to update again? Damn. Sorry guys! Today was SO much fun! We went to Sea World :D Then later on, we hit the mall where every expensive brand has a factory outlet or sells at a 70% discount. Picturessss! >
In other news, everyone here is asking everyone out. Very awkward :| And americans don't have decent food dude. All cheese and bread and meat. And they're all huge and.. jiggly.

Day before:
What. A. Day. Eventful doesn't cover it! First we went to Kennedy Space Centre, which was okayish (overdose of space, I need MY space :S). But laaaterrrr, we went to Cocoa Beach, where:

- I got soaking wet
- I got stung by a jellyfish
- I thought I was going to die
- I didn't die
- But I got hit by a ball and almost had a coronary
- We almost got attacked by a sea gull
- The changing stalls got locked and we all almost had to change in.. full view :|But then I smiled nicely at the lock up dude and he let us in.
- A kid got lost
- Another kid got lost
- Our organizer's wallet got lost (contained most of our food money, passport copies, important numbers, cellphone, identity, credit cards)
- We called 911 (YEHAY. Dream come true :P)
- I hooked two people up
- We found the kid.
- The other kid was asleep in the bus
- We didn't find the wallet
- We me a cool lady who believed in nature and peace. Hippie; but with better clothes.
- I scared a Chinese person off
(unintentionally)
(I swear)

Day after:

UNIVERSAL STUDIOS IS HEAVEN! I'M GOING TO GO LIVE THERE WHEN I'M OLD ENOUGH!
(Prolly never, but hey, a girl can dream :D)

But guys. Seriously. It's got two of the world's most dangerous rollercoasters, it's got an entire area for superheroes, it has a toon land, it has Dr. Seuss (pronounced like voice, not deuce) (cuz it sucks when people do that -.-) land and best of all..

IT HAS AN ENTIRE AREA JUST FOR HARRY POTTER <3 <3

They've recreated Diagon Alley and it's amazing! They have zonkos and honeydukes and ollivander's and they sell butterbeer.

i drank butterbeer B)

to make you feel better, it's kinda sorta like an ice cream soda, but shutup already,

also, i seem to have suddenly discovered my undying love for rollercoasters. the faster and topsy turvier, the better :D and i hate it when they get over too soon! cuz then you have to wait for forever in a line, and waiting sucks :/

but totally worth it :D

and adventure island here is a total rip off  of island of adventure in universal studios. i mean, these guys didn't even bother changing the font -.- it's sad how we lack enough creativity to even come up with an original name. oh well.

--

so yeah, that was my last day there. trip's over, i'm back with a ton of stuff and insanely jet lagged.

for pics, check out the album on facebook. also check out anushree gupta's profile, she'll be putting up the pics from universal studios soon!

day 6

Day 6

"And I'm free
Free falling"

Okay so it's pretty late at night here and I'm insanely sleepy, but I thought I'd update before I forget and/or everyone starts threatening me again.

Today was rocket launch dayy! And land rover testing dayy! And one presentation dude> Dr. Shah.

Remember how we'd built a land rover on the first day? Well today, we tested it out on a track that looked the the martian terrain. And there were all these fancy rocks that we had to recognize with the help of a spectrometer. Recognizing each rock gave us $5 million, and we got its face value if we managaed to get it back to the base. The jackpot was this rock called Goethite> $400 million :O

Our rover broke, hahahaha :P I mean, we got pyroxene correct but then we went to get another rock and then the wheels fell off. But then later on we got to know that most teams didn't get to that stage either, so it wasn't half as bad.

Then the Dr. dude came, and he basically told me that I should become a doc cuz I'm natural at all this.
Way to go, man. Where were you two years ago, when I actually had to make this choice? -.-

THEN WE WENT AND TESTED OUR ROCKETS!
SO EFFING COOL!

(thanks Suchit :S)

Only one of the rockets bursted, the rest of them launched properly and had their parachutes deployed. My team's rocket gave us a cardiac arrest though. The parachute didn't deploy when it reached 60m, and then I got so. fucking. scared :O but then it opened up later on so it was cool :d

(The reason why the rocket launch was important was because if the rocket didn't land properly, the entire week's activities went waste)

Then we came back, got into our school uniforms and went for the graduation dinner, wehre they announced thaaattt..

SILVER TEAM WON, BITCHES! :D

Yayayayayayayayyayayayayaaaaaaaa it did B)

So then we had the most amazing dinner ever and we returned to the hotel, celebrated Adi's birthday (yes it's Adi's birthday today :D), went to swim, and here I am. Almost dead. Tomorrow we leave for Orlando, get some sun and laze around :)

I love life right now.

days 2/3/4/5

Days 2/3/4/5

"Ohh! Written in the stars! A million miles away!"

Okay so I didn't update :S SORRY NA. My days have been PACKED here! Honest :O

So ever since monday (what day is it today? Thursday? Friday? Uhhh.), we've all been going to the Space Center Houston, here in Texas. And it's been the most fun time ever! Basically, we got split up into teams (I got Silver :D) and then we were all assigned tasks for each day. We were also given a budget of about $329 million (yeah) and then for every task, we got monaayyyyyy :D

First day we built land rovers, second day we chilled around and met the AWESOMEST guy ever, he was smart and Indian and a space scientist and I felt inspired :O yesterday we built landers (basically you built a lander, put an egg in it and drop it off from 40m, and if the egg didn't crack, then lots of moneyy. It's like grown up lego or something, you get to build stuff and test it out using wacky ideas, we love! :D

And today we built a rocket. Like, a rocket. Which we'll test out tomorrow. Then later on we hung out in the lounge and played live foosball (where people are the players), and baseball (I HIT THE BALL! Once.) and rock climbing and that flight simulator game (like the one in the iPad, but you actually sit in a shuttle and have all your controllers and you get tossed around like crazy!)

Pardon the geeky-ness, but all of this is SO fascinating! And it's not stuff you get to do really often. And it's NASA. So shut up, all you guys :P

I've also pretty much managed to boost America's economy by a couple of thousand dollars :P I mean, I've shopped so much, I had to buy two extra bags just to keep all of that stuff. I've raided Macy's and Banana Republic and Walmart and Best Buy and Toys R Us (Adi's birthday on 4th) and JC Penny and Apple (hehehehehe) and I LOVE THIS PLACE BAS :D

We have the coolest people here. I mean, there are some normal geeks who're always discussing stuff like velocity of things flying at blah height with that much thrust (why do they call it that? I always associate the wrong image with it :S) and all. Then there are lil ones who're always screeching around. Then there are wannabes.

I love wannabes <3

THEY'RE REALLY ENTERTAINING OKAY. I mean, there's this guy here who wears matching shades with EVERY outfit, I mean that takes effort! And lots of shades. And his earphones are always in his ears and he walks the bebop.

Give me one reason to not love this guy :P

OH OH OH I WENT SCUBA DIVING! If you haven't been scuba diving yet, you've not lived life. I mean, it's the most fun thing ever, JUST DO IT ALREADY YOU GUYS.

Tomorrow's our last day here, day after we'll leave for Orlando. I'm sorry if this was one long itinerary-post, I've seriously had zero time! We leave for the space center at 8.30 every morning, leave at 4ish, go to the mall or some tourist place and then return at 10. So tiriiing :O But absolutely worth it :D

Oh, and the best part?
Starbucks B)

Later! :)
