oh shizzles

Dear Dude Who Lives Up There

In serious and desperate hope that you exist, please, please, please, PLEASE, PLEASE don't let anything fuck up. Let tomorrow and the coming months pass by peacefully, and very very happily (yay :D) without any of the mishaps that I think might happen.
I swear I'll be the nicest kid (minus the stuff that actually might lead to the potential screw up, heh).
This entire thing means a lot to me.

it's in the A B C of growing up

Farewell's on Friday.
I'm sad.
I don't know what school's gonne be like without them :(

And something really freaky's been happening. EVERYTIME I think of something, it happens.
Everytime I think of Khyati, she calls/texts me.
Everytime a song's stuck in my head, someone puts it up as their status. THE SAME LINES.
Everytime I want to do something, someone does it for me before I ask them to.
Everytime I think of some mishap happening, it happens.

This is really scary :|

OKAY I REALLY AM GOING TO STOP DELAYING MY WORK AND FINISH THE SCRIPT AND RECORDINGS. DAMN DAMN DAMN.

OKAY I JUST FINISHED ALL MY WORK BITCHESSSS. :D

blog hopping

These are so pretty! The girl in me is squealing in delight.
Last night, there was a 7.5 richter earthquake..

.. and I slept through it -.-

The bloody fan could've fallen on me and killed me off! But I was really tired yesterday. School tires me, but farewell practices make it fun.

I've had a farewell overload. After every few minutes, everything reverts back to talking about the farewell! Boo.

I love my seniors to death. But I'm trying to accept the fact that everyone goes to college and moves far away. Sometimes you keep in touch. Sometimes, you can't.
But there's always a hope that you'll remember and be remembered.
I love you guys. All of you.
I feel so sad they're going away.

Hurry Up & Get Here

I have too much on my plate.
Deja vu :P

NO SERIOUSLY. This is all farewell related so I can't really explain how, BUT I'M IN TOO MANY EVENTS!
I'm in:
1. A: Can't quit. Pride and honour. And I love this.
2. B: Can't quit. It's only the most awesome and slightly exclusive thing ever.
3. C: Want to quit, but need to convince the other person, who's taking forever to decide!
4. D: Want to take part lol.
5. E: Have to do it. Nobody else will take initiative and it's a fantastic idea.
6. F: This is decorations, and I'm awesome so nobody will let me quit.

And we were supposed to be part of one thing only :P

I'm really scared about how the farewell will turn out! And how we'll all survive looking pretty but dying of the cold.
I'm bored of this layout, facebook, my profile picture and I feel like going on a sabbatical again EXCEPT I can't because people get really pissed when I don't reply to texts/return calls/reply to wallposts. Not fair :/

Did anybody see this week's Koffee with Karan? Lara Dutta is absolutely gorgeous, and the way she talks is so crisp! Love.

Okay the holidays have completely messed up my sleep cycle. I slept at 3 yesterday night, woke up at 7, sleep wave hit me at 4 in the afternoon but I couldn't sleep cuz I had class, then I came back and made some soup. I thought I won't sleep so that I sleep at 10 at night BUT IT WAS REALLY TOUGH OKAY. So I slept at 6..
.. and woke up at 9.30 -.-

And now it's 1.30 am and the cycle's still continuing. Fail.

January 16, 2011

By the way! On the way!

I just sawwww

and I liked it! :D I don't know what that says about me :P
I mean it didn't have thaaaaat great a storyline despite being inspired by Emma, but it was a good popcorn movie! I think it didn't work as well cuz there isn't a very big section of our population who can actually relate to the movie and enjoy it. And also because *SPOILER*  Abhay Deol should have totally kissed her in the end instead of doing that lip-smack-against-cheek thing he did and kinda made the ending a little odd *END SPOILER*

Hmm :) I like popcorn movies and pretty looking people who wear pretty clothes and can spend lots of money without thinking twice hahahaha.
(And I also liked the movie cuz they showed a rafting trip to Rishikesh YAYYAYAYAYAYYAAY)

Oh oh oh, the blog title is a song in the movie. The movie soundtrack was pretty catchy. I like :D

INDIAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!

DID ANYBODY JUST SEE THE MATCH?
ABSO-FUCKING-LUTELY AWESOME. SHEER BEAUTY. I CANNOT STOP TALKING ABOUT IT.

(aneesh, this is not the decline of my blog -.-)

South Africa had a 100 balls left and like 20 runs to go, they were SO close to winning! I'd almost stopped watching the match! But we kept playing, and then South Africa were down by 5, then 6, then 7, then 8, then 9. AND THEN. WHEN THERE WERE 3 RUNS AND AROUND 60 BALLS LEFT.
ALL OUT BITCHESSS!

Proud-er to be Indian. Sniffle :')

on a roll

And this is the Rishikesh trip blogpost.
(Okay it's the school magazine article too. Shut up. Atleast I'm telling everybody about how AWESOME that trip was :D)

Trip to Rishikesh
Camp Rapid Fire

28th October to 31st October were some of the most memorable days of my life. Why? Read on.
It all started innocently enough.
Like any other trip, this one too started with a crazy bus journey involving lots of chips, coke, scary stories and uncomfortable seats. After a long and treacherous journey, we finally reached a resort close to our camp for breakfast and lunch.
It was gorgeous! The cold mountain breeze felt incredible against our faces, the entire place was like paradise. So after hogging on breakfast, we decided to explore the area. There was a river, and eventually, a lot of us landed into it and decided that it was the aim of our lives to make the other person wet and click a million pictures while we're at it. (because that's what we kids do). And then we climbed out of the water, shivering and slipping on the rocks, settled down on the grass to dry ourselves under the sun. Then we had lunch, and went for a small hot air ballooning experience (it was tied to a rope though. We tried to get them to set the air balloon free, but some teacher overheard us in the process and effectively ruined all plans of us soaring free. Oh well.)
By early evening, we all piled up into our buses and proceeded towards the main camp site. Reaching there was rather tiring though, considering how a) It was a downhill trek of about a kilometer, and b) a lot of our enlightened peers were carrying scarily heavy suitcases.
Our tents were pitched on the banks of the Ganges, and after an lecture of dos and don'ts, we all ran towards our choice of tents (everybody obviously running for the ones farthest from the teacher's tent. But point being, we didn't know which one was the teachers tent. Sigh.)
So after settling down in our tents, we all headed towards the dining tent for some food. There was a cosy bonfire, and if you looked up, you could see a a million stars winking back at you. It was like seeing another galaxy up in the sky, it was beautiful!
We all tried staying up that night, but were shooed into our tents, and eventually fell asleep, owing to our tiredness.
And then the fun began.
First day was epic! After an amazing breakfast, half the people went rafting and the rest of us went rock climbing. They also made us sign a contract saying that our death was not their responsibility (Hahahaha). I was more excited about the rafting, but rock climbing was fun too. (A few of us, ahem, had already been yelled at by the camp instructors by then.)
THEN WE WENT RAFTING! (Told you I was excited.) We went over rapids and jumped into the freezing cold water and were warned of dead bodies in the river (not that it killed our spirits in any way whatsoever. No pun intended.) We came back tired, had a bonfire with lots of songs, followed by dinner. Today, we were definitely going to stay up! But within five minutes of that resolve, we fell asleep.
The next day started out very similarly. Trekking was on today's agenda. To say that it was a long trek would be an understatement! But it was actually fun talking to all the 10th and 9th graders along the way. And the path was stunning, we walked along a stream which had the clearest water imaginable! Then we all went to a small village to tell them a little about literacy and hygeine. We returned at around 4, and got the chance to jump into the river (finally), splash around and basically have a good time.
Tonight was the last night. Tonight, we were definitely going to stay up.
Easier said than done. After trying valiantly to stay up in our tents till 12, we fell asleep, promising to ourselves that we're just resting our eyes and will be up within half an hour. (I woke up at 5 am after that promise)
Next morning, we all packed up, had a quick breakfast, and started the tough journey upwards. After a lot of huffing and puffing, we finally reached the buses, loaded our luggage, climbed into the buses, and sadly, came back home.
This trip was a small one, but meant a lot. From crazy inside jokes to horrible singing, toilet tent woes to sand being everywhere, it was a wonderful experience. Our teachers were amazing, the 9th and 10th graders were extremely entertaining (I'm sure they can say the same about us 11th graders), and it definitely left a longing in our hearts, a wish that the trip had lasted just a little more longer.
But then, all good things come to an end.

Lalalalalalala! Yes I loved that goddamn trip to bits and pieces.

Drushti was stuck on a rock lol :P
AWW MAAN.

it's been so long!

I'm back from my sabbatical, hahahahaha :D

Okay I sent this in for the school magazine. It's a lot more serious than I'd originally planned for, but whatever. I was feeling really low when I wrote it.
See naaaa! :D

The journey to Germany started on the morning of 6th April. After an 8 hour long flight, the 15 students from DPS Gurgaon, along with their teacher - Ms. Sapna Dhawan - landed in Munich. From here, a flight to Stuttgart was taken, where the German students awaited their Indian partners. The schools involved in the exchange were Lise-Meitner-Gymnasium (Crailsheim), Erasmus-Widmann-Gymnasium and Gymnasium bei St. Michael (Schwabisch Hall). After a long busride, the students finally arrived at their partners' homes by nightfall.

The first five days (7th to 11th April) were spent at their partner's homes, due to the schools having Easter holidays. Most students used these days to grow familiar with their new surroundings and their partners' families. On 12th, schools reopened and the Indian students accompanied their partners to school, where they met students from other schools (DPS Noida and Mayo College). The first week involved guided tours of Schwabisch Hall (for the students in Erasmus-Widmann-Gymnasium and Gymnasium bei St. Michael) and Crailsheim (for the students in Lise-Meitner-Gymnasium), where the Mayor welcomed the students with great warmth. The children also attended a Fit for Germany seminar and visited the Audi car manufacturing plant with great enthusiasm.

The second week started with the Dance Project for all the Indian students, where they learnt a fusion of hip hop and jazz, which spanned four days scattered across the next two weeks. To their great joy, the students visited the Daimler-Benz Museum in Stuttgart, followed by sight seeing and shopping. There was also a guided visit to a German forest, where both the Germans and Indians learnt about German forests and wildlife. This was followed by a delicious barbeque during late afternoon, much to the delight of everybody. The Indian students also planned a visit to Tripsdrill, an amusement park.

The next week, students attended lessons in school (like they did in the first and second week). They also started working on the 3rd Reich Project, where they were told about Nazism, Hitler's policies and the political (and consequently, social) history of Germany. They took part in an interactive session, where they discussed their thoughts on Nazism. They were later asked to prepare a presentation on a variety of topics related to Hitler's government, which proved to be greatly informative. The next day, the German and Indian students went to Munich, where they visited they Dachau concentrated camp, and were later taken for shopping and sightseeing.

On the day of the farewell, everybody was busy preparing to make this event a memorable one. The students of DPS Gurgaon also got a chance to paint a pillar in Gymnasium bei St. Michael and leave a mark behind. The farewell itself was a grand and was held in Lise-Meitner-Gymnasium in Crailsheim. Every performance was recieved with deafening applause and cheers by the German families. There was an atmosphere of sadness and nostalgia, where tears and smiles mingled together as everybody remembered fond memories of their stay.

After endless number of pictures and hugs, and long drawn out goodbyes, the show finally came to an end. The next morning, most German partners accompanied their Indian friends to the Stuttgart airport. After their final goodbyes, everybody looked around, taking in the fact that it was finally over. The most memorable experience of their lives had come to an end.

Okay I just realized it's WAY too serious. Damn.
But they wanted it to be informative! I couldn't have written how much fun we had while we were bar hopping. Or drunk :P

We The Crailsheim-ers :D
DAMN. I miss this.
Those will be the best memories :')

January 5, 2011

yes

fuck life.

im pissed. AAAAAAAAARGGGGGHHHH.

IF I TRY AND UNDERSTAND YOUR POINT OF VIEW, WHY WON'T YOU TRY TO LISTEN TO MINE? IT'S STUPID AND ILLOGICAL AND OVERLYRATIONAL BUT IT MAKES ME HURT AND IT MAKES ME THINK AND IT MAKES ME BREAK UP. OKAY?

NOT OKAY?

THEN LISTEN.
i loved you. deal with it. my feelings for you didn't change. deal with it. i disappointed you. ACCEPT IT. it made me sad. ME. NOT YOU, IM TALKING ABOUT ME. it made me sick inside that i wanted to spend more time with you but i couldn't.

my last breakup was horrible. it was scary. ask some of my friends. they'll tell you the fucking horror i went through. at home. in school.
it was 1 year of pure hell.
it took me one fucking year to move on and get over what had happened.
it scared me.
it still scares me.
i still have nightmares about that day.
and what happened in the following days.

i didn't want to go through that again. or make you go through that again. or anybody around me.
so you've got to understand. the timing. of us. not. right.

nobody said it'll be easy. i know i've made life even more fucking miserable for you.
it's no easier for me. not a day goes by without me thinking of you.
you value in my heart has always been the same. not an iota less.
so don't say what you said. don't doubt my feelings towards you, you have no fucking right to.
and as long as you don't understand what i'm trying to tell you, you won't get the point of any of this. you never will.

i wish i didn't like you either.

January 4, 2011

gravity

i love holidays.

you're a moron if you don't, or if you say that school is fun.
anyway, i was talking to chit bit today and AWW MAN. i love the freak. we talk about her relationship really often, and to not risk people overhearing us, we end up talking in codes. so she eats momos with her friend when they feel like honking the horn, but she feels that growing a tree is important to sail a ship. just eating spaghetti or playing tug of war isn't what this is all about!

(if you got all of it, wow.)

hmm. so we might be going to see snowfall at some hillstation one of these days.
WHAT THE FUCK?

it's stupid. my fingers have nearly fallen off my hands because of the cold, and now we're going to go see snow.
i'm telling you, if i don't get to see a snow fall, i'll throw a hissy fit. i've seen snow on the ground way too many times to actually be bothered now. (germany, france, bottom of my old refrigerator)

so i was talking to some people and they ALL told me that i forgive too easily.
why not?
people make mistakes in life. some of us have the courage to own up to them. that's a beautiful trait and should be appreciated. besides, what's the use of holding a grudge for so long? it eats you up from the inside, it causes so much.. negativity around you. and that makes you unhappy, right?
why should you feel unhappy for somebody else's mistake, or even get upset over it? anger is of no use. eventually, it's just precious moments lost in an emotion that gave nobody any benefit.

but forgiveness is on the condition of not repeating the same mistake again. and fixing it.
all you need is enough trust :)

(yes, if you also think that i'm a fool to be like this, great. atleast i'm happy)
